The Mallard

The Mallard is a safe, purpose-built space where your child’s needs, preferences, and happiness come first. Located in the heart of Springburn, Glasgow, we provide respite short breaks for children and young people (aged 5-21) with additional or complex needs. Our warm, family-focused approach means every stay is carefully planned to be enjoyable, comfortable, and tailored to each child.

Our short breaks give children and young people the chance to:

Relax in a safe, nurturing environment
Try new activities and experiences
Build independence, confidence and social skills

Each child has a dedicated key worker who will plan activities around their likes, interests, and goals.

Our fees are competitive within the sector, and in some cases, services may be free. We can guide you through any available funding options.
